Growth meets resistance.
Nature moves in. We’re already there.
Protect your driveway, patio or roof from day one. From the day a surface is installed, black spot, algae, moss and lichen start to take hold. Our proprietary surface protection system gives you a head start.
Protect first
Most people call us once moss, algae and black spot have already set in. By then it’s a restoration job. On a new driveway or patio, that growth begins almost from the day it’s installed.
Treat it while it’s new or sound and you stay ahead of it. No clean needed first, and far less restoration later.

New drivewayThe best time to protect it is the day it’s installed.
New driveways
A new driveway is a serious investment and the first thing people see. Spores start settling into its joints and pores straight away.
Treat it now and it stays looking new for longer. No clean needed first.
Protects the blocks and the joints, where moss and algae take hold first.
Keeps the open, porous finish clear of green algae and black spot.
Inhibits the moss and green film that creep in from edges and shaded areas.
Just had a new driveway installed? Get a head start on biological growth.
Book a Free Site VisitMoss, algae, lichen and black spot root deep within the stone, slate, clay, concrete, resin and tarmac itself. Cleaning removes what you can see. What’s left inside starts growing back straight away.
Chiltern EverGuard™ deals with the part cleaning can’t reach, and keeps your surface protected long after we’ve left.

Pressure washing alone
Pressure washing alone can remove the visible signs of black spot, algae and lichen. It doesn’t remove the problem.
The growth is still alive and well within the material. The fresh water and oxygen driven into its pores only invigorate it. Treating it within the material is what stops that cycle.
No pressure, no scrubbing. Simply applied to the surface, then left to work.
Applied directly to the surface by Chiltern Surface Co technicians. No pressure involved.
Penetrates deep into the stone, slate, clay or resin, where growth takes hold.
Kills growth on the surface and within the material. Roof lichen dies straight away, then weathers off naturally.
Leaves a protective layer that inhibits regrowth for the long term.
The system
Chiltern EverGuard™ is a surface protection system we developed ourselves, and only Chiltern Surface Co offers it. It’s applied only by Chiltern Surface Co technicians, matched to each surface.

Long-term protection
Chiltern EverGuard™ inhibits the regrowth of moss, algae, lichen and black spot, typically for two to three years.
A typical expectation, not a guarantee. It varies from property to property with the surface, shade, nearby trees and exposure.
Where we use it
Natural stone, clay, concrete, tarmac and more. Each surface is assessed before treatment.
