Questions
About the site survey
What does the site survey involve?
We visit the site, photograph the condition of each surface involved and note access, working zones and site rules. The findings set the specification of works and the access and delivery approach. Where complete removal of staining cannot be guaranteed, this is identified before works begin and the expected improvement is set out clearly.
Is there a charge for the site survey?
No. There is no charge for the site survey.
Do you survey roofs by drone?
Yes, where airspace permits. We survey roofs and high-level areas by drone before we price the work. We identify the roof covering before any work is proposed and request the asbestos register. Asbestos-cement and fragile roofs are never pressure-washed or walked on.
Can the works be planned around an occupied site?
Yes. Works are phased zone by zone behind agreed exclusion areas, so access can be maintained wherever the site conditions allow, and out-of-hours working is available. Note any restricted areas, site rules or induction requirements on the form and we plan delivery around them.
Can I include several sites in one request?
Yes. Give the main site address, choose the number of sites and list the others in your message. Each site receives its own specification of works, with one contact, one standard and consolidated reporting across the portfolio.
What happens after the survey?
We send a fixed-price proposal built on the survey findings, with no day rates and no overrun charges. Payment terms are set out in the proposal. Once it is accepted, site-specific RAMS are issued before mobilisation, and the works end with a completion report: before-and-after photography, a defect schedule and a planned preventative maintenance (PPM) proposal.
